Any info appreciated. I have this great Railroad Semaphore. It only has two lenses. It must weigh 100 lbs. It says Sentry signal co on it and then 38 BN. I don't think its a fake due to the weight and all the bolts and such but one can never be so certain these days. It does however have a thick, somewhat sloppy in places, black paint coat, which I think may not be original to the piece. Also has some pretty big rough looking welds on it. I do not know much about welding but they surely are very visible prominent welds which you can see in photos. Any and all information on the piece I would be grateful. Thanks!

It looks like a train order signal. They only had two lenses, one red and one yellow. If it was red the train had to stop and physically sign for orders (like registered mail) If it was yellow then the orders would be passed to the crew when the train passed. The crew wouldn't have to stop for them. Whether the blade is real or not, that is a question for someone else to answer.
