Ink paintings on silk

I got these a while back. All I know is they are ink paintings on silk. The story I was told when I bought them how ever true it is I'm not sure. How ever they were a gift to a daughter from her father. A soldier returning from war. Which war no idea, the daughter passed away in her 90's sometime ago.
