Antique Chess Set

One of the reasons I can't work at a thrift store and spend all my time read locating hiding the good stuff until I can buy it there's that in their strict policy of shirt on I don't know the age I do know it is old not sure the origin The pagodas leed me to think Asian but not sure region or even country made of light weight wood The tallest pieces probably 3 inches be in the king or it is about 15 inches across and wide as well the single dovetail . The pieces store away inside standing up it is missing some blocks they had opposing each piece blocks are different heights in order to keep the pieces from moving when it shut you can see where the stain is lacking that's where the blocks were. And towards the corners on the inside there's two missing but they are clips I imagine that in your locked when shot. Any help would be great on finding out more about this please
