Hi, I don't know who made that but I love it! I have been sewing most of my life and would love to come across something like that. Nice find!
i have it for sale on ebay lol
i have traced it back to 1910 but was told it could be french and earlier due to the fabric...it is so well made it would not surprise me.
i have tried to find old pictures of ladies sewing and they appear to be holding little objects in their hands but i cant tell if any are cats...i suppose due to it being silk most deteriorated over time and got thrown
It looks more like a bear to me than a cat .
