Possible rare Lee Reynolds painting

Hi, I cannot find anything on this painting anywhere. I have had someone look at it and they confirmed it is a real painting. However they wanted more money from me for them to tell me more.

Here is what I know: it is 4ft by 5ft.
It is old. How old I have no idea.
On the back of the painting is a number with initials M.A. From vanguard studios. The number is this 153594. There are brush strokes on th edges of the painting that were folded around the frame.
