Antique hand carved Hindu doll. I'm not sure what this item is. Was it a children's doll? There is a nail in the top of the head so maybe it was hung up in a home.
The torso and head are carved out of a heavy/dense wood. No legs. Antique handmade dress. From top of the head to bottom of dress is about 21 Inches.
Any information on this would be great!
Many of these were used as puppets or figures for a puppet show . I doubt it was a child's doll . Very unique
