    This is a FENTON milk glass hobnail piece. Ive seen them listed as candle holders and also epergene. Does anyone know why the original looked like when it was originally sold??

      for their 1969 catalog these were called "the creative Candle Bowl" and designed as a versatile center bowl. The bowl could hold tapers around the perimeter, or 1" to 3" candles in the center. see page 34:
