Just trying to find out what type of doll this is picture is of me and the doll my beloved grandpa purchased for me somewhere in the Chicago, Gary Indiana area from 1955 to 1958 really trying to find out the name of this doll so I can locate one and have it for my grand daughter

I hope you hav better luck finding your childhood doll than I have had. Decades of searching fot my Helen, with a celluloid face, tuft of blond yarn hair and a red chennile outfit with built on red pointy hat. Look like I'll be giving up the ghost without finding her--Maybe in a heavenly plane she awaits! .
Looks like a vinyl face and rubber body . Did body look like this ?
