"Danny the Black Lamb" - 1949

A collection of items from the Walt Disney film, "So Dear to my Heart" released on January 19, 1949 by RKO Radio Pictures. Starting from L to R: the book was published by the Whitman Publishing Co. in 1949. In the center is the original sheet music of the title song: "So Dear to my Heart" written by Irving Taylor and Ticker Freeman. On the right, is a rare planter of "Danny, the Little Black Lamb." The planter is 7 1/2 inches tall and was made by the Leeds China Co. in 1949.
