I'm looking for ANY info on this bike. Can hardly find anything about Rixe bikes online. Looks like original seat, motorized head light, tail storage box, labels, bell with Rixe name, etc. Small (20"?) wheels, comes apart for storage/transport. We bought this a few years ago at a yard sale in NJ, for about $20. We love it, wish we'd been able to buy the other one (that wasn't for sale)!
Rixe was a german manufacturer-still in business whose bikes were imported through victoria distributors in penn. I have a similiar but different style bike from about 1964 which I am cleaning up . Can show you pics if interested.
