    can anyone translate this for me ? or what country it is from? Maybe
    Turkish? thought it was interesting so I bought it from a picker along with some other items.

      This is not Islamic although it is written in Arabic script. Various languages are written in Arabic script, Pharsi(Iran) , Urdu (Pakistan), Dari (Afghanistan) etc. The Turks have been using Latin alphabet since 1920s .so it is not likely Turkish.
