Here's a little stack of two kinds of roughly 5" x 7" white ceramic dishes, presumably once used to help serve first-class airline passengers their complimentary hot meals back in the day when airline travel actually allowed such things. <groan> All are marked as being made by Pfaltzgraff.

The slightly more oval pair are for UNITED AIRLINES, with numbers "PL 005" and "005" on them. The more rectangular set of 4 are for NORTHWEST AIRLINES, with the number "050445" on them.

I can't say I've ever had the opportunity to dine from such dishware "in-flight", but nonetheless find these very handy in my own kitchen here on the ground -- they're a great size for reheating leftovers!! :-)
