Came with the house I bought. No idea what year they’re from. Never been opened, but pretty sure I ain’t drinking it! Lol

For large glass bottles like these to still survive is pretty cool. Especially when they are not returnable. Probably from the late 70's
I’ve looked everywhere for an expiration date. They’re glass covered with a thin layer of “safety plastic”. Which is advertised on the bottles as a “new” feature. So I figure it’s from the 1970’s era.
If their are numbers on the bottoms, that might tell the age ect.
I found a small reference to this being a test package in 1976 but I lost my link.
PET plastic was being introduced in 1975, but Coca Cola didn't start using them until 1978, so the dates seem to match up. I'm just guessing, but it could be Coca Cola was resistant to using PET plastic, so they coated the glass bottles in plastic (maybe so they'd stay together if dropped and broken ?). Looks like they finally gave in a year after introduction of PET plastic bottles. All just speculation.
Also, if the bottle hasn't been compromised, aside from loss of some carbonation and degraded flavor, it's probably safe to drink. That being said, who wants to be the "taste-tester" ?
