This is an Alice's Adventures in Wonderland book dated 1871, original.
Inside this book is a charming hand written ink dedication to the half title reads "Annie Veronica Mason August 1871 with Mama's love".
Not only that , inside this book is a NOTE HAND WRITTEN in ink by JOHN TENNIEL in his clear distinctive hand accepting a dinner invitation and dated Dec. 8 1867.
John Tenniel was the Illustrator for Alice in Wonderlands books !
This is a GREAT FIND !
