    I have this 1999 p Delaware quarter.weighs over 6 grams, has a few letters with extra metal ,an obvious die crack,and may be struck on experimental planchet,also some doubling is suspect.Have any comments? Would love to here em.Thanks

      I do believe that is a real experimental. It's a little hard to say without seeing it in a video (to check for a pinwheel/cartwheel) but it's not only in the proper weight range, it's got the proper amount of slight discoloration/greenish tinge that a coin that's been slightly circulated would look like when made of Manganese brass.

      Though the weight is a factor; I have an example of a New Jersey which is only slightly heavy (my scale rates it roughly 5.8 but it stinks) yet it has all of the other tell-tale signs. It came out of a sealed coin roll in CVG Airport in 2005 and, other than some slight cash-register circulation, it's in pretty top shape.

      Lucky find; I'm jealous.
