Here is a sword-that was my dad's-I thought it was gone-but we found it lastnight!

My dad had this when I was very young-I remember it! Im shocked we found it-it was in a closet//in the way back! wraped in a towl-the handle has goten a bit brittle-but its still solid! if anybody can help me find out any info on it would be great! It says spain on the blade--Im not sure if it photo eatching-or real engraving! Im sure its not real-just a decative pc"-but what do i know! so please me and my boys would like to hear anything sbout it!-Thanks c-dogg
