I have no idea what this coin is. It is in such poor condition all I can make out is the year of 1862 and a silloette of a human. Would love to know if anyone recognizes it.

Hmmm it may not be an American coin... I just found this image.. that looks like it.. but it's calling it a penny???? My coin is HUGE.. like a half dollar?
