Old Key?

I found this key at a estate sale down the street from me and th out it was pretty neat but I cant seem to find any skeleton keys with faces stamped in them online at all. I was wondering if somebody might be able to help me. I'm not necessarily looking for a particular price is this a really old key? or is this a remake? Is this called a Skeleton Key? Any information would be extremely grateful thank you.
