Would like to know what I got as in what I need to restore it.i can't figure out who made it or date it some one removed front lock .is it original color and and did it have wood on outside?

Looks like you have a flat top trunk from the early 1900’s. Most likely it is in original state re. colour. Without a label no way of knowing maker as this was a standard trunk made by many at the time. There was never any wood on the outside of this one. This is a basic trunk so whatever you would like to do to restore just go for it. Tin covered so either clean it up or repaint! Hope this helps a bit...
