Yes, the hats were SO elaborate! That may be feathers--maybe Marabu feathers (many beautiful birds died back then so ladies could flaunt their wealth and their status!)
And again in this card, the sexual inuendo. Totally not ok to speak about sex directly but everybody got this message!
That's very sad about the birds. I'm a big fan of all birds. Thanks for the info and I'm going try and see that movie.
