I found this doll at a flea market years ago and I need help identifying it. It needs repair to the neck, but i need to see what it originally looked like so I can fix it accurately. Its about 18" tall.

    thanks so much!

Is there an initial at the center front of his cap? (Side view looks like it)
Just judging by the huge nose, out of proportion with the rest of him, I'm guessing it's a home-made Pinocchio doll.

Thanks for looking; there isn't an initial on the cap, its just the angle of the shot is not showing the loss of the red cap on the head, revealing the top of the head. What is driving me crazy is that last year by luck I found an image of this doll online, but now i cant find it.

Pinocchio . I think it could be factory made and had repair work or possibly homemade from a pattern . Hope you find one just like him to restore him .
