Can anyone tell me maker and age of this vase? Each side of the vase has Japanese writing. I bought it at an estate sale and an elderly man told me his wife purchased it in Hawaii about 40 years ago. He said he was mad at her cause he thought she paid too much for it---sound familiar? LOL

I have a lazy-susan, with 4 inserts that fit into it and the insert bowls/pieces have a similar mark on them. I haven't researched it yet....so am curious to know as well! If I come up with anything, I'll let you'll know.
