I'm trying to learn something about this old lamp that I got from my Mom. It's been in the family for a gazillion years. It's got a heavy, cast iron base and an urn style "body". The green is newish paint unfortunately so I don't know what's underneath it. It works fine with a 3-way switch.
What info can I add to help someone give me a short education on it? It's about 2' tall to the top of the finial, but they middle post is adjustable.
