I got this composition doll from an antique mall today. her arms legs and head are composition. Her eyes open and shut when they do the make a loud cling from inside her head. She has small line cracks. Painted hair looks like something may have been glued to the back like a hat. I just want to know about when she was made what year or about how old she is!!! thank you!
Is she marked Madame Alexander ?
Yes she has Mme. Alexander on her neck.
She is a composition doll dates around 1940's . I can not see her face when not sitting up good or what her body looks like to positively ID her . Not in original clothes .
When I get home from work I’ll take a better picture of her face and repost it. thank you so much!!!
