It looks half made. I found it in my pocket and it looked very odd. I washed it off and was surprised what I found.

It got in a fight with a clothes drier and came out second best. Good example of why you empty your pockets before doing laundry.
Definitely damage, I go through hundreds of dollars of coins every month and find similar coins like it.
