This was a doll I found in my grandmother's belongings. I was thinking it was a Russian doll from the clothing. There are no maker marks or identification marks. The arms and legs move. I'm trying to date it and am interested in selling if I can get information about it.
Very nice pressed stockinette face doll . I agree Russian/ Soviet Union ,and was a tourist doll. Dating around 1930-50. Tourist dolls don't sell real high but good luck she is wonderful. You don't mention height . It also helps to show face straight on sitting up :-) They are called Stockinette cloth dolls . She has the typical type shoes on Russian dolls also .
