The names of the women that contributed to the book are both white and Mexican women but only two of them are mentioned as high fluent women that married an engineer for the infrastructure of Pasadena the other a Chemist that worked for the Department of Water and Power. The recipes are authentic Mexican cuisine using authentic Mexican kitchen tools. A history of Pasadena that I think was buried under the 10 freeway and the tunnel connecting to the I-5 freeway.
