    Quarter size button I think its civil war era but no one knows. It was found in a cigar box from North Carolina, but this one was with other naval civil war buttons in a cigarette box from the U.K. So I am lost on this one.

      My un-researched gut reaction would be to start checking communist or former communist block countries. That star with the radiant beams just screams soviet influence to me. Beyond that, I'm clueless

      I have the same design on two buttons , and also have no idea what/when they are from. I found a post where someone was selling a newer version of the ones i have and they stated they were Air Force buttons but then also said they weren't sure what they were. I hope we can find out something on these!
