The "Noah Plate". It was made/originated in Nurnberg by a pewterer called Paulus Oham Senior, active there from 1604 to 1634 when he died. There is another, almost identical, version commissioned by another pewterer. The central motif is Noah's offering of thanks to God after the happy landing of the Ark which can be seen in the background. The date '1619' reads roughly:'Noah leaves the Ark and offers God his thanks'. The date '1619' indicates when the iron moulds were engraved. They survived WW1 and communism and are still at the Arts and Crafts Museum in Leipzig.
