Mission Rocking Chair

I bought a mission rocking chair at a flea market in West Central Illinois this weekend and I would love to be able to restore it back to what it looked like when new, how ever long ago that was. It is 37" high and about 27 " wide. It looks like that it was upholstered in black leather with cotton and wood shavings under the leather next to the hand made springs on the seat. The back of the chair was covered front and back too. The Back rest cushion is missing. Would love any info anyone would know about this rocking chair, there were NO trade marks on the Rocker. Thanks
