Hi, I would love to know if this doll is repro or genuine!
It is marked on the head AM 341/4 K
It's approx 16in.long without clothes, approx 27 with clothes.
Soft body.
Wearing christening style dress with underdress, bodysuit, terrycloth nappy and knitted booties.
Plastic popper on the back of the dress which is what made me think it might be repro.
Although of course the dress might not be original.
Fixed eyes, painted eyelashes , closed mouth. Nails unpainted. One little finger is broken off otherwise intact.
She's cute repro or not! ????
Take down first photo and add all of back of head ok. I am inclined to think original head with wrong replaced eyes put in and on a replaced body . I need to see painting of hair in back of head .
The body has been replaced what are the hands? they are usually made of celluloid, and the eyes close ? it seems like they have been glued, Anyway I think it's an A M, with modifications.
