1958 Madame Alexander Doll

Vintage Madame Alexander Doll, stamp on back reads "MME 1958 Alexander", eyes close when laid down. Looks like it has a little "speaker" on the back. Also has a little hole in the mouth and rear end, unsure what these were for. Unsure if this doll has a name. Anything you can tell me about this would be appreciated.
