    Hi All - Have had these bookends for years, but I don't know anything about them, and haven't had any luck finding something similar, so I would really appreciate your thoughts. The bookends are identical except one is stamped CS&C Co. They weigh over a pound each and the bottoms are felted. Would love to know more about them. Thanks! Mimi

      They are nice bookends.

      I don't know much about the manufacturer, but I can tell you that Civil War collectors would appreciate these.

      The eagle is a stylized version of the eagle that was worn on US breast plates during the Civil War era.

      They would look great holding up my Civil War books!
