This Bear was at a church basement resale sitting alone on a shelf and for whatever reason I was drawn to it so I purchased it for $1. Now I don't know what to do with it.
I wanted to find out more information but I couldn't find anything.

Hello, I have found your teddy bear maker on google, this from the World of Miniature Bears website:
Cassner Bears
P.O. Box 416
Arendtville PA 17303
Phone (717) 677-6925
Don't know if they are still in business, but you can find many other Cassner teddy bears selling online, some quite expensive - seems you got a good deal
Heather.n.Earth, I'm going to link your duplicate post here, as somebody gave some useful information on that one as well:

So yes, your teddy bear was made by an artisan named Cassner in Arendstville, PA.
Try as I might, I couldn't find that business using PA's business search engine:
https://file.dos.pa.gov/search/business
A potential clue to the age is one of the materials used in making some of the Cassner Bears (Ultrasuede):

Ultrasuede was invented in 1970 by Dr. Miyoshi Okamoto.
However, the bottoms of the 'paws' on yours don't look like Ultrasuede, so the creation of Cassner Bears might have spanned 1970.
