These winter versions of the Cinel sisters are extremely rare collector's items today. Their snow outfits debuted in a Christmas animated special featuring two distinct holiday stories:
•Babicinel’s Heroic Rescue:
When humans cut down the tree where most of the main characters are trapped, only Babicinel is left to save them. With Cococinel’s magic clover frozen and useless, little Babicinel braves the frozen forest alone. Guided by her magic heart radar, she faces dangerous blizzards and meets Alice the Caterpillar, a new friend grieving the loss of her family to human insecticides. Through this journey, Babicinel learns a somber lesson about human cruelty toward insects before reaching the human shop to rescue her sister and friends.
•A Lesson in Trust and Friendship:
The second segment is a quieter story centered on a misunderstanding. The mischievous Cocograss claims to have a special surprise for Cocofleur, the fuchsia ladybug. Haunted by past trauma and Cocograss’s reputation for pranks, Cocofleur fears the gift is a cruel joke. To get ahead of it, the twins Ben-Oui and Ben-Non help Cocofleur prepare a disgusting "gift" for Cocograss: a foul-smelling, rotten mushroom. However, the mood shifts when Cocograss reveals her true gift—a beautiful green flower brooch to remember her by. Devastated by her own mistake, Cocofleur apologizes, explaining that she didn't expect such a kind gesture. The story ends with a dance of reconciliation in Cocoland, teaching a heartfelt lesson about friendship.
