In Season 2, Babicinel arrives, a sweet little bug, pastel blue with pink details. She is the sister of Cococinel, the previous protagonist who possessed a magic clover and saved her village of Cocoland from evil. Babicinel came from Coco-NewYork, the great insect city. After a strange event, Babicinel obtained a magic pink heart, a magic amulet entity with a life of its own, very similar to her sister's clover. Because of this, Babicinel decides to go live in Cocoland, Cococinel's humble village, seeking her sister's help to properly control the heart's powers and thus help her fight for Cocoland, its nature, and its people. Unlike Cococinel, she is much sweeter, more empathetic, and very childish and immature, prone to falling in love. Babicinel becomes the main protagonist alongside her sister Cococinel, so much so that many posters and products sometimes say Babicinel instead of Cococinel, since at this point both are equally essential and prominent, and Babicinel often more so due to her sweet nature she's the one Cococinel has to keep out of trouble a lot of times!! Babicinel not only had the mission of saving Cocoland, but she was also unconsciously the emotional heroine to all her friends. She always did whatever it took to help her friends in dramatic personal situations and heal their traumas.Along with Babicinel came new characters to Cocoland, such as Levallois, a rich bee who ends up becoming a criminal, and Cocograss, a very gluttonous green bug. After her platonic love betrayed her at one point in the story, her sadness caused her to stop believing in love, and this affected her poor magic heart, which shattered into pieces. Babicinel suffered greatly for her poor heart, since it wasn't just an magic thing; it was a living being and her most loyal friend, like a guardian angel. Fortunately, the affection and comfort of her sister Cococinel served as a balm for the heart to magically rebuild itself, leaving Babicinel with a lesson: Love isn't just romantic; love also exists in your family and friends, and sometimes we search what we already have.
