    just trying to find age range for this clock .I'm not sure if the plywood is correct or not. It has nice glass and I have pendelum and windup key.I really like the face at the top.

      You say "plywood" but I don't think it is. Looks like it's veneered solid wood. Am I right?

      The clock looks like it is 1870s- 1900 time period.

      Some of the ornamentation looks a little excessive and may have been added by the owner.

      Also one of the bottom side panels MAY have been replaced. The one on the left has large grain visible (Oak?) while the panel on the right appears to be walnut with little grain visible.

      A picture of the back may help to determine if anything was fixed.

      Scott's right! You do have two woods going on there and the metal do dads don't really fit...

      thank you all for your input. After closer exam I see where someone has taken the front off and sandwiched the plywood pc. with the doodads between it and the back. I think I'll remove it and get it back to original.
