    Large Asian ochre earth pigment painting; 36 x 24 inches. Really old painting with two small unknown flags. Someone spent a lot of money on the conservation glass and matting; unknown artist, unknown origin, and unable to find anything to compare it to. Any clue to artist or origin would be helpful.

      Korean. Folkstyle painting. It depicts the God of Longevity with a bonsai of peach, the fruit of longevity, the branch spelling out the word. . . you guess it, "longevity."

      Don't know the date. Guessing 18th or 19th c.
