Elegant Cut Crystal Pedestal Compote
Referred to as being produced in the "Brilliant Era" Early 1900's
Heavy leaded glass intricately cut with geometric patterns
Just beneath the thick bold Cut Glass Bowl a circle of extending
Verdigris metal leaves with one Clear tear drop prism suspended from each leaf edge Cherubs adorn the stem of this elegant compote,all resting on a circular piece of marble with a crest of matching verdigris leaves.

Victorian Sentimental Feminine
This is not ABP cut glass from the early 1900s. The glass portion is Eastern Europen (you can tell this by the cutting as well as areas left "in the gray"), metal fittings are most likely American. These were quite popular in the 1960s and 1970s.
Paul hit the nail on the head. A great number of people are fooled when buying such pieces into thinking their glass is old American Brilliant. Don't let this reveal change your love for the piece. Enjoy it!
