Looking for information on this watch. My wife got it from her sister. She was a McDonald's employee in 1975. I have been looking all over the internet and have never seen one like this. The back is stamped "Lafayette Watch Co., Swiss made, Base Metal, #24002"
That would put in the right time era. These and others(Lafayette) character and sport watches range from approx 1970- 79 for mechanical watches. Nice piece, thanks for sharing.

I have one too. I got it in 1975, when I was 7, for first place in a fire safety and prevention poster contest.
As have you, I have searched for another example for years now.
This is the first time I've seen another.
