Bullet Planter

I always wanted a (white) Kimball bullet planter--or any bullet planter, but I won't spend $100+ for one. I found a bullet planter at an estate sale for $8. It was pretty hideous at first look. The legs were a rusted brass and the planter itself was this see-through gray mixed with gold glitter-it reminded me of a plastic Barbie doll brush material but not pink. I envisioned what it could look like with some spray paint & took it home. I spray painted over the gray glitter to white. I planned to sand down the rusted legs and spray paint them black, but after sanding I found a nice smooth brushed steel finish and kept it that way. I'm happy on the end result. I wish I had taken a before picture.
