      I find from the pocket watch web site that yours was made between 1920 and 1921.....that is from this site:>http://www.pocketwatchsite.com/walthamserials.html. no more ifnfo is there that I can find.

      If I am reading the serial # correctly ,23529722 , it is a 17 jewel, model 1924, grade No.1225, size ColB, and was made in 192o as Pop_abides stated earlier. Hope this helps.

      Sorry missed your request on how to read #'s. The number you use to date and ID is the "movement" serial #, on this one it is located just above the mail spring detent.
