I love Höglund's work. I did before knowing how much of a revolution it was in the 50s, when in his early 20s designed these bubble-filled glass items in the simple colours used in the traditional Swedish everyday glass items.
I've only got 6 of his glass items in my collection but they are a important part of it!
:) I had heard about the metal but not about potatoes :D
Seeing any glass work is amazing, just imagine a master! :)
I do! :) it's even great seeing how the make the ugliest items, haha :) Seriously, it's mesmerizing. I specially love this one on the making od Sarpaneva's Claritas:
