This is a heavy stainless steel souvenir tray honoring the Edwin H Gott launched by Bay Shipbuilding, Sturgeon Bay, WI in 1978. The Gott is one of only thirteen 1000 footers on the Great Lakes. These ships must be seen to fully appreciate their awesome size. Length and width I expected but looking up to the Pilot House from the dock side is like looking at a small skyscraper.
