    ....Mickey Mouse Phone. Purchased for daughter 30 plus years ago. It is a workable phone. It simply sets in our home office here now, and has been for some time.

      The Mickey Mouse rotary phone came out in 1976. The Mickey Mouse touch tone phone started appearing on the market in Aug 1982. Not all of the telephone companies central offices had converted to touch tone service by 1982.

      kerry.....That sounds about right. I really didn't set down and try to put an exact date when we purchased it....but your figure sounds very much in the ball park of time. I do remember the price was about $100. dollars.
