B series numbered rare Budweiser lidded stein

I started collecting beer steins by accident really, it all started back in the late 80's when I purchased a Budweiser holiday stein on a whim. Since then family and friends saw it and ran with it, so guess what I receive on b-days and x-mas? Seriously though I love my collection.

I recently and would aquired the stein shown above and want to find out more about it. It does not have a date, however it is numbered and also printed on bottom is "B"series. If anyone recognizes or knows anything about this or similar steins I would realy like to find out.
