REINHOLD MERKELBACH BEER STEINS

I am sooooo pleased, after much researching, many hours, I may have just identified that I have three original REINHOLD beer Steins!!!!! not replica, they have sat in my kitchen for years just looking nice and I decided to research and hey presto, they have all the correct markings etc etc, one reads... 'WE DRINK TO-DAY WITHOUT A SORROW AND THEN WE CARRY ON TO-MORROW'....... LOOLS I am now tooooo scared to ever drink out of them :>) they all have RM encased in an incomplete circle and codes, 3983/4090, all have MADE IN GERMANY AND OTHER LITTLE MARKINGS, they have heavy pewter lids and are in perfect condition, DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW ANYTHING that would help me ??????
