Asian table lamps

I recently purchased this pair of lamps and am hoping you can tell me a little about them.One has a male sitting on the base, playing an instrument and this one shown is a female holding some sort of urn. They are in working order. It appears that everything is original (lamp shades, electric cords). They have no seal or any other markings that I can see. On the bottom of each lamp is a felt like material. I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them- they are so unique. Hope you can help. Thanks
