1930's wood carvings by BOB???? folk art

Hi I do not know who BOB is? His name is carved on back of each plank. They are pretty neat, one has written date of March 9, 1939. Also he played tic tac toe with knife or something on back of one. Does anybody know who this is? I looked on internet and can not find. thanks toracat

This is something that was probably made as a school project in wood shop in the 1930s. I have a similar one of my parents from around that era. Bob is no one famous. Usually I've seen these plaques used as covers for photo albums & scrapbooks, but perhaps yours are wall hangings.
