Hello: I have a lighter that was given to me by my grandpa. I don't know what it is. There is no brand on it that is visible. Can anyone tell me what type of fluid to use, what it is, and if it's worth anything? Any other info would be great too. you press the button labeled in the pic, and the flame comes out above the vents (also labeled.)

    Thanks

    I added pics.

Looks to me like a table (end table, coffee table) lighter. To open just pull the top away from the bottom. Makers mark might be inside bottom. Use Zippo lighter fluid & flints.

Thanks. There are 2 screws on it. One on either end. My grandpa told me to unscrew the one and put fluid in there. But when I unscrew the other one it clicks and I am not sure if there's a spring... don't want to break anything... I will post an additional pic if possible.

The one with the spring is for the flint. Is their cotton in the bottom? If not Hmmmm, send me more pic's at > jack_cathy@bellsouth.net OK?

Yes there is cotton in it. I do not have any fluid to test it right now though.
